Why Android is Better Than iPhone

When it comes to smartphones, the debate between Android and iPhone often sparks passionate arguments. Both have their strengths, but Android offers several key advantages that make it the go-to choice for many users. Let me jot down some reasons why Android stands out. 1. Affordable Options for Everyone One of the biggest perks of Android is its wide range of devices. Whether you're on a budget or ready to splurge, there’s an Android phone for you. Brands like Samsung, Google, and Xiaomi offer everything from basic models to cutting-edge flagships. iPhones, on the other hand, are notoriously pricey, with even the older models often stretching your wallet. 2. Customization Galore Android gives you the freedom to make your phone uniquely yours. Want to change your home screen layout, use widgets, or install a custom launcher? Android has you covered. With iPhones, customization is limited—you’re pretty much stuck with what Apple decides is best. 3. Expandable Storage Ever run out of...

Apple Icons: Best Practices for 2024

Apple is renowned for its commitment to sophistication and aesthetics, consistently embodying these principles in all its products and services. Apple continues to be a dominant player with a strong market presence in the U.S., Europe, and other developed regions. However, Android remains the most prevalent mobile operating system in the developing world, including Pakistan. As of 2024, Apple’s iPhone holds approximately 17% of the market share in Pakistan, compared to Android's 80% dominance. Despite this disparity, in a mobile market of over 195 million users in Pakistan, the number of iPhone users is still significant. Savvy developers recognize this trend and are increasingly focusing on Apple Apps, knowing that the iPhone's premium appeal could potentially grow its market share further. Linking Mobile Phone Addiction and Advertisements in Pakistani Youth

Here is a research that I did for my assignment in 2012. I know, it is a bit dated but this is still relevant (I would say even more relevant as mobile phone use has increased dramatically since this research). It will be useful for people who are doing secondary research in Pakistan in particular. It is also useful for people outside Pakistan who are interested in the topic of youth and technology overuse/addiction. One observation here: when I did this research in 2012, social media apps were not very prevalent in Pakistan. You can add social media use in the usage category. Another more serious observation: I categorized people who were using mobile phones for more than 4-6 hours to be addicted. Now it has become the new normal. It is alarming, to be honest. 🚨You might have noticed that my blog disappeared from your browsers when you tried to access any post. It was because I changed my URL to https://mise-en-scene101.blogspot.com 🚨 One more (lastly, I promise): In 2012, TVC or ...
